Letting Go Is Not Easy

You have to be brave

Letting go is hard for everyone at any age in any situation. When it comes to love we have to let go of the person we loved so much and still love. Let go of all the memories we had and all the experiences we lived. Let go of all the feelings, smells, gifts. Let go of all the plans we had, all the shared dreams. Let go of all the habits, the daily routine.

Letting go is hard not only because you have to give up on so many things but also because it demands you to be brave and strong. You have to be brave and strong enough to admit your perfect person wasn’t as perfect as you believed, and that your relationship failed. It demands you to confront reality as it is, and this is hard.

It’s hard but essential

The price of not letting go is too high and you can’t afford that. The price of having your ex always in your head, the price of believing you can still be together, will prevent you from moving on and find happiness. It’s your time to let go, to do whatever you need to be happy, to get the life you deserve. Life is not easy, but you need to have the courage to fight, to find your way to happiness. You will need patience because it will take time, but I can promise you that if you start that journey you will be very happy in the end.
